A 62-year-old St. Augustine, Florida woman has received a sentence of five years in prison, stemming from convictions of driving while her license was permanently revoked, possessing a fake ID, and felony DUI.

Police responded to a call about a woman in a parked car outside a restaurant. When police arrived, the woman handed the officer a shoddily crafted fake ID. The ID was the woman's Florida identification card, on which she had cut and taped the words "Driver License Class E" over the words "identification card," creating a very obvious forgery. The woman had her license permanently revoked because of three former misdemeanor counts of DUI and three felony charges of driving with a suspended license.

Besides the pasted text, the woman had two different photos of herself on the ID, and each photo was obviously taken at different stages of her life. Her blood alcohol content was 0.277, greater than three times the legal limit of 0.08.
