Snoop Dogg’s Bus Busted by Drug Dog

Hip-hop star Snoop Dogg – an outspoken advocate of pot, with a license for medical marijuana in California – currently faces a drug charge after Border Patrol searched his tour bus on a West Texas highway. It was the same stretch of road where country singer Willie Nelson was similarly busted in 2010.

During a routine Border Patrol check of United States citizenship, an agent noticed the odor of marijuana coming from inside of Snoop Dogg’s vehicle, and used a drug-detection dog to sniff out three prescription bottles of marijuana cigarettes.

Snoop Dogg (real name Calvin Broadus) freely admitted to being the owner of the three bottles. He was subsequently arrested and detained by the Border Patrol agents. After being cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, he was given a January 20th court date and released.

If you have been charged with a drug offense in the Orlando, Florida area, don’t let your mistake define you. First-time offenders are eligible for several programs that may result in dropped or dismissed drug charges. But even if this is your second or third offense, we can help you get back on your feet again.

Please contact our experienced Orlando drug offense lawyers at the Umansky Law Firm today to schedule a free personal consultation. We will do everything we can to minimize your sentence.
