Physician Acts Out During DUI Arrest
A Florida physician has a serious gash on his forehead and
faces charges of battery on a law enforcement officer after he acted out
following a DUI
arrest, according to KETK NBC.
Allegedly, the physician was speeding when he almost hit the
back of a cop car. After failing a sobriety
test, he was arrested for suspicion of DUI and placed in the cop car. Next,
the physician had an outburst in which he reportedly slammed his head against
the door, and then started screaming and kicking the door. The officer began to
remove him from the car, at which point the doctor spat on the officer.
It has been reported that, at one point, the physician was concerned
the police officers were trying to steal the more than $50,000 he had in his
pockets.
Anyone can make an error in judgment and get stopped
