Intoxicated Grandparents Tow Little Girl's Toy Car with SUV


Earlier this week, two intoxicated grandparents in Sarasota, Florida, were arrested after using their SUV to pull their 7-year-old granddaughter in a toy car, according to NBCMiami.com. The grandfather faces charges for repeat DUI, driving with a suspended license and child cruelty. The grandmother faces child cruelty charges.
The toy car had been attached to the SUV with dog leashes. The little girl was being pulled along an access road at about five or 10 miles per hour, according to the police report. When asked for his driver's license, the grandfather is reported to have told the deputy it had been revoked for 10 years for DUI. The grandfather refused a field sobriety test and now faces his fourth DUI charge.
