College Student Slams SUV into Winter Park Steak ‘n Shake; Arrested for DUI


Last Thursday, a 20-year-old female college student was arrested for DUI after running her SUV through the front of a Steak ‘n Shake in Winter Park. According to police, the girl had just finished ordering her food at the drive-thru window when she proceeded to crash through the glass front door of the restaurant. 

Incredibly enough, no one was hurt in the incident. The SUV stopped mere inches away from the front counter inside the restaurant, but no people were working at the inside register and no customers were inside since the restaurant was closed. Only the drive-thru was open, and it remained open even after the crash. The girl was arrested and charged with DUI property damage. She may also face underage drinking charges.
