South Florida Radio Host Sid Rosenberg Charged With DUI

This past Thursday, prominent sports radio host Sid Rosenberg was arrested and charged with a DUI, as well as driving with a suspended license. According to police, the WQAM-AM (560) host – who has had his license suspended three times – was found parked in the middle of 63rd Ave. The engine of his GMC was still running, and the driver’s side door was open.

Rosenberg was lying on the ground behind the vehicle in the fetal position. He seemed to be trying to induce himself to vomit. Vomit was on his clothes, as well as inside of the vehicle, and there was a “strong odor of alcohol” emanating from his breath. His speech was slurred, his eyes were bloodshot, and his face was flushed.

Rosenberg at first agreed to take a field sobriety test, but subsequently refused, stating that he knew he would fail. After also refusing to take a Breathalyzer test, he was arrested and taken into custody.
