Daytona Beach High School Coach Charged with Solicitation
Maronto High School may have lost their head coach after he was arrested for allegedly soliciting a prostitute over the weekend in Daytona Beach. The high school has not yet made a decision about the coach's future until after they meet with him, which only seems fair.
According to Florida law enforcement, the coach was one of six people arrested conducted in response to citizens and businesses complaining about street-level prostitution. Other charges for the group include solicitation to commit prostitution, cocaine possession and the sale of marijuana. Each of these is a serious charge with fines or jail time.
The coach was released from jail early Sunday morning after posting $500 bail.
