Two Men Charged with Burglarizing Police in Two Different Crimes

Two Orlando area men, one 19-years-old and one 46-years-old, have both been charged with burglarizing items belonging to the police. In the first case, the 19-year-old man allegedly broke into a marked sheriff's SUV and stole items out of it as it was parked at the deputy's home. He is accused of taking a laptop. An orange cone, blue latex gloves, and stop sticks were left at the scene. The alleged burglar was contacted by a deputy early Monday and was found with department issue handcuffs and a glove in his back pocket that matched one at the scene of the crime. He also lead police to a laptop, a gun, and credit cards that were not his.

In the second incident, a homeless man was caught prying the doors of police cruisers and doors at the back of the Orlando police department. When confronted by police, the man threatened them. He was charged with two counts of attempted burglary, assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting without violence.
