Ocoee Toddler Had Cocaine in System at Time of Death

A toddler whose own father is charged with manslaughter in his shooting had cocaine in his urine according to the autopsy report. The twenty-two-month-old may have found his father’s gun between a mattress and box spring.

The boy’s father is charged with aggravated manslaughter of a child and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in the March 9, 2008 death of his son. The man claims he bought the gun from a friend after he was assaulted and robbed in an apartment complex.
