Client avoids a suspended jail sentence

Our client had previously pled out to a driving while license suspended and agreed to a thirty jail sentence, which was suspended upon the condition that the defendant obtain a valid license. Years passed, and our client never did anything to address his responsibilities. Attorney Gary Schwartz was able to explain to the judge that the client was stuck in a catch 22: he could not get a valid license because DMV was showing that he first needed to serve the suspended jail sentence. The judge agreed with my argument and struck the thirty day jail sentence, leaving our client without any sanction.

If you have been charged with a DUI in Florida, please contact The Umansky Law Firm today to schedule your initial consultation.
