Lindsay Lohan Posts $100,000 Bail, Starts Morgue Duty
After having her probation revoked by Judge Stephanie Sautner at a hearing this past Wednesday, Lindsay Lohan quickly posted a $100,000 bail bond. She spent less than an hour in custody. A hearing is set for November 2nd, during which Judge Sautner will decide whether or not Lohan has indeed violated her probation terms, which she called “a gift, not a right.”
If the actress is found in violation, it is unclear whether or not she would head back to jail, or simply be faced with further home detention. Regardless, Lohan stated that she intends to fulfill her community service obligations by starting work at the L.A. County Morgue today.
Unfortunately, she arrived at the morgue 40 minutes late for work, and was subsequently rejected by the morgue staffer. She claims that she wasn’t sure which entrance to use to report for duty, and will try again tomorrow.
If you have violated your probation, you may be facing a wide range of potential consequences – including jail time, loss of your driver’s license, heavy fines, and even conviction of crimes the judge had previously deferred. Our Orlando criminal defense team can help.
